Art Conservation Services is directed by Ann Baldwin, an art conservator specializing in the preservation and restoration of works of art on paper.
Ann studied printmaking at the Rhode Island School of Design, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts. Prior to graduate school, Ann interned in collections care in Boston, and paintings conservation in New York City.
Ann earned a Master of Arts in art history and an advanced certificate in art conservation at the Institute of Fine Arts, New York University, with a concentration in paper conservation studies.
Her museum training included fellowships at the Brooklyn Museum of Art, and over ten years on staff at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where Ann developed skills and knowledge in paper conservation and restoration methods.
