Images above show components of a multi-media Georgian timepiece, outfitted with barometer and thermometer. The Stationers of London published this work. The paper elements feature engraved images and texts, and cut-out windows and slots revealing elements such as fixed and moveable feast days. Some are affixed to components called volvelles, located below the surface, set in motion by gears.
